From memory about 2 years ago Rotechnics were charging £1100 for a recon 12a with no power mods, subject to the exchange engine being reusable for reconditioning.

If mine ever went I\'d want my 12A engine back in (unless it was totally shxgged). That\'s because I\'ve changed the oil at less than 3000 miles and never redlined it.
So I should expect a bill of about £1200 then from a good rebuilder? Is that with the engine removal/refit already done?
Not that I\'m in need, just building up info.

A little bit of redline never hurt, I like to hear the buzzer now and again.

the buzzer always tells me when to change ;)

You cruel guys....Stressing my lovely power plant with the buzzer.....NEVER.....

Plenty of athletes have dropped dead in the gym working out at max power. That\'s my excuse anyway.

It\'s like asking an old lady out on a surprise date and then..........well, youse all can add the rest I\'m sure.
