help with a sensor

hi guys i have to change the riat air sensor under the knuckle on the engine of my fd3s, and was wondering if its an easy job to do or am i best to take it to the garage have a mechanic fit it? as im not sure if its just an unscrew of the knuckle an replace? or is there seals i could break or stuff?

No it\'s as easy as you\'ve stated mate. Nothing can get broken or damaged.

One thing I was gonna ask it\'s a dragon performance replacement sensor, and it was sent with the part that it clips into n the wires to wire it to the standard wires that are there is this needed or should I just keep the standard wiring n clip on?

go careful removing the UIM make sure you dont break the solenoids if your still running twin turbo, if not its a case of unplug everything remove the uim unscrew the old one, screw in new one, get the wire harness that comes with it, snip off old connector and either use bullet connectors or solder, i think solder is recomended.

Lol cool, well that\'s made me look a novice lol, I\'ve jus got under the hood n there\'s seals either end or like a rubbery glue that\'s holding it sealed do I need to replace that if so wat do I use?

that what I said before the person who you got it from tried a lot of stuff himself and made a load of bodges on the car that being one. Better off leaving it.

Ok when you say leave it, what do you mean? Not replace the sensor or get a mechanic to fit the sensor?
