As it\'s winter now, after putting the heaters on the other day i noticed only cold air was getting blow out the vents! Now the thing is i can feel that warm air comes out of the window vents - not severely hot though, but the car demists fine. All the other blowers just seem to blow cold.

I\'ve had my rx (fd) since june, never really had to use the heaters but have once or twice put them on im pretty sure that they did used to work!
Any ideas?

im having the same issue. i think my problem is a clogged heater core. i tried bleeding the coolant system with no luck. on my car, the pipes going to the heater core, one is warm and the other is alot cooler( not cold just cooler). thats what leads me to believe i have a clogged core.

i know this may not help much, but it is an idea.

this is on a fc though

They definitely seemed a bit warmer on the way home tonight! :xconfused I\'m gonna try bleeding the coolant and see if it makes a difference...

What setting is the air direction on??
I know with mine if I put the heaters on to the face position (where the air blows from the centre dash vent) I get stone cold air, but on every other position the car turns in to a sauna in minuits!!

Tried all the settings, the only one the seems to put out warm air is the windscreen. Normally i wouldn\'t really mind that much but its getting bloody cold now!

I suppose its really the only downside of running my rx daily the now; apart from that its awesome. :D
