No he\'s just getting old :). I see his point, though, it is more form over function compared to other vented bonnets- Try the R-magic vented bonnet, ain\'t no way FEED\'s will cool as effectively as that!

hee hee hee. Getting old :Giggle! I\'m already old! :(

I just sometimes think that we need to keep an eye on the fact that these tuning houses are basically businesses, and they want your money. It\'s easy to get suckered into thinking that anything that comes out of Japan is of unparalleled quality and design, and this just simply isn\'t the case. Some of it is, in fact, just tat designed to separate the gullible from large amounts of hard-earned. I\'m sure FEED are an honest company and have an performance-based acme that they strive for, but I don\'t think even they can afford to pursue that goal in an economic vaccuum, and compromises have to intrude. I expect their vented bonnet does work, I just expect it doesn\'t work very well compared to one that\'s been, shall we say...better designed. To adulterate a well-worn cliche, we can\'t change the laws of physics, but we can persuade people that they\'ve been bent a little for the sake of a styling excercise

I have the CF Feed but have always liked the AD9 bonnet. Which of the two would you say is the best design.
I am more than happy with my bonnet but i must say in traffic it could vent better, but on the move it works very well.

Youd be surprised how well the feed bonnet cools actually. I have had both bonnets (feed and AD9) on my car with identical setups and I had cooler water and charge temps with the feed bonnet.

i have the feed bonnet on my car and it seems to work very well. its the only vented bonnet ive had on my car and i bought it for the same reasons your thinking of (bthebuk).
slight bit of venting whilst keeping the stock look.

FEED Addict

I have the AD9 on mine and the Misses has the FEED one on hers, both seem to work well, if we take them out for a spin tonight I will have a butchers.

I had that bonnet on my fd before it got resprayed, although im not sure if was a genuine FEED, it was fibreglass though. When it was getting prepped for spraying we noticed it was bubbled up in places because of the heat from under the bonnet - looked terrible and really noticeable side on; couldn\'t have been releasing the hot air very well then!

I ended up getting the standard aluminium bonnet and got some vents cut into it!
