after finishing my rebuild off last weekend ive drove it around all week untill last nyt wen i herd a blowing noise and it got worse as i got closer to home so i had a quick look at the exhaust and ther seems to be no leaks it sounds like its coming from the manifold area :2Mad

I had something similar on my FC...

Basically after you\'ve put it all back together, the bolts on the exhaust to turbo or manifold to turbo or engine to manifold can losen after the engine has been run a couple of times - sort of like settling out.

Just recheck them for tightness.  I like to get on the bolts when they are still relatively warm, but be careful not to over tighten them, as everything will contract when it cools and you could end up snapping a stud or bolt

Also, it\'s recommended that the nuts are replaces when rebuilt.

I\'ll be replacing mine.
