Intermitant intermitant wipers :?

Just a quick on to see if anyone has had this problem & if you sorted it? basicaly I can turn my intermitant wipers on & they will work for a while, then turn off and about 3-5 mis later, give a few intermitant sweeps, then stop again, then a wipe or two, then stop!! as you can imagine, it\'s a pain in the arse driving in drizzle!!

I had issues with my wipers - turned out there was a short somewhere in the miles of wiring and it was earthing when hitting bumps in the road..

Was fixed for me when we replaced huge chunks of the loom last rebuild though!

I have this on mine the only thing I can think of is the relay in the switch housing in the arm not sorted it yet.

Mine does not work at all for weeks, then it may start.
 
I\'ve purchased a replacement wiper arm/indicator arm assembly from a breaker on this forum. Haven\'t fitted it yet.

My rear blade works when it feels like it. I mean, it\'s a wiper FFS! It has ONE job to do!!

Anyhoo, just get some Rain-X on the windscreen - no need for wipers eveer again!! :burnout

oh my wipers are sort of the same.. works fine on constant speed but refuses to work on intermitant UNLESS I leave it on the intermitant setting and then indicate! Suddenly the wipers move half way up the window!.. :rollin I love my rx7
