Nurburgring Sept RX7 pics and lap video!

Hey all,

I\'ve just got back from the ring, took the new RX7 there on  fresh build from Tim @ RXMotors and a map from Geoff @ REWorxs.

Blew a boost pipe after the 500 mile drive and 2 mins into the 1st lap, the next day we bought a 70mm table leg and fabricated a new pipe from the good parts left, cable ties, duc tape and jubilee clips ha ha

Was fine for the first few laps, by the 14th lap we had lost 99percent boost.

0.3bar and managed a personal best of 8mins 49secs :yes

Good work - 8:49 with a blown boost hose! How much power do you think you were making?
I guess at least that way you had a greatly reduced chance of damaging your new engine heh

Haha, that puts my 9:44 on the Thursday before into perspective  To be fair it was only my sixth lap and the first three were in the P-ing rain...

Nice going - wish I\'d stayed over the weekend as I think there were quite a few Rex\'s out weren\'t there?
