I plan to do a engine rebuild on a 95 FD using the rebuild dvds and the car will only used for fast road never track but have the following question:

I am thinking of using Hurleys engineering long life apex seals, Hurleys side and corner seals but when I went to order them from rotary art they come in 2mm, 3mm and 3.5mm sizes how do I know which one to order or should I go with mazda stock ones.
Also is there anything else that you guys recommend I should change while the engine is out (Bearings?) The engine is ok at the moment but has 60k on the speedo and has 6.2 Bar Rear and 6.0 Bar Front.
I have decided to fit the following:
Change all pipes with new Samco ones
HKS Fcon Pro
HKS Circle Earth
Tein coilovers
Blitz Nurspec Catback
Blitz induction kit
C West sleek light kit with HID
Blitz BOV
Metal AST
Also I got the HKS Fcon pro from a friend with a supra so I need someone to put the standard FD settings is there any tuners here that can do that for a charge.
Thanks for any help in advance.

Forgot to add i want to replace clutch with another mazda oe one.

Akash - if youre not porting the engine or fitting a decat, then you dont need the fcon. Also which fcon is it? If its not the gold, then its not much good.

Apex seal wise ive never had any problems with stock mazda seals. If you are gonna order hurleys, surely its cheaper to buy them from hurley direct?

The decat is maybe a option but not sure mot wise. The fcon is gold v pro and he gave it to me for free and I have already ordered the navigator pro from japan so why not plus if I do anymore future mods the I am gonna need it. Also regarding hurley I thought I might get longer life out of engine if put better but if I get similar life on stock with fast street driving (and no street drags) then I will put stock. That\'s why I asked on here.

Jit

Hurleys wont give u any better life (IMO). For what ur doing, mazda is fine. As for the ecu, yeah go for it...good bit of kit that!

i would not bother with the engine earthing kit just make sure what earths are on there are in good condition.

stick with mazda seals 2mm!  you only need to really go to 3mm seals if your rotors are damaged and need machining...Hurleys dont have the best rep in the world....
Definately want it mate but the dog has just died so will be getting the missus a new dog for christmas....
Sounds like a good deal but will have to ask the dragon first.....  :flamed  :spank
