URGENT HELP... need to fix tonight/tomorrow morning..

OK I have a bridgeported FC with FD inlet/igniters and a tonne of other goddies.. built by Hayward rotarys.. :cool

only issue is i got some new pipework through today.. and in attempting to  shoehorn it all in.. have managed to snap the join on what i believe to be an expansion tank of some kind...



you can see the pipe that was connected to it (with the join still in the pipe:2Mad:2Mad ) in this pic...  [circled in YELLOW is where the pipe meets the housings etc]


Questions:
A: Can i run without it? If so where does that pipe go! or do i block it off.
B: If i CANT run without it.. does anyone have a spare I can buy and then collect/have delivered etc TONIGHT/TOMORROW..
C: is there any common work arounds etc?? replacement bits/upgrades etc???

its an air separator tank. there is a way of eliminating it but you need a 2nd gen filler...also youd need to consult your builder to check hes happy with elimination of the ast as i reckon he might not be. if youre super stuck, i have an ast up here in harrow you can have for some beer tokens although its a hell of a drive!
