im in a bit of a dilemma i know ive posted a question like this before but its coming up to rebuild time on the old T2 and ive been watching a lot of japanese option drag racing videos and most of the FC\'s use the twin turbo engine is this better for drag? is it easier to get the power out of twin turbo engine? and should i keep mine or drop in the two turbo beastie?

Stick with a nice single setup. Twin turbo setups are a nightmare that you dont want to know about.

Stick a nice BIG GT30 on there... :D

i agree,  twins are night mare, thats why people go single for real power. The TII block is basically identical, its the ignition and ecu that have the most differences. If you go for a bigger turbo, get an aftermarket ecu..(microtec or similar) and you will easily reach similar power.
400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!

Hi,
If you check out the Ausi and NZ rotary drag scene, you will see that the most common engine used is the 13bt. It is used in the majority of chassis from the RX3 upto the FC. If you are talking about an engine swap rather than just attempting twins on the 13bt, the 13B RE is less hassle to fit than the 13B REW. Either way, both these engine produce better results using single turbo´s.
