Hi guys, has anyone got a guide for removal of an FD3S engine?

There\'s plenty of resources on this forum. Just use the search. In fact, only last week did I put a quick help on on how to remove the engine

Nope not yet, can\'t find it on the site :(

i\'ve ordered the bruce turrentine dvd :)

Think it only covers the fc, so completely irrelevant to the fd. Could be wrong though

This topic has been covered numerous times. In the last 3-4 years alone, i\'ve seen the number of members on here rebuilding their engine triple. It\'s quite simple really. The main things you need to know about are the ecu connector plugs and the pull type clutch, neither of these are covered on the bruce dvd i don\'t think. The rest is just straight forward just like any other engine. Anyway there are loads of thread whilst you wait untill your dvd arrives from the states. You never know, you might even attept to do it before the dvd arrives.

I\'ve got the rebuild one which indeed is the FC, but have ordered the engine removal guide which is a specific one for the FD.

Work starts tomorrow :)
