Too much noise!

Hello all!

Im the French guy who bought the Jimi Hendrix\'s FC



She likes the french roads but french policemen dislike so much the "monstrous" noise of the little black FC (and it\'s cost 90â,¬ :o)

So I need advice to reduce my exhaust noise!

I\'ve a 2,5" tanabe downpipe, a 2,5" decat, a 3" OBX cat back.

What\'s the best choice:

Reinstall the catalytic convertor?

or

Install a presilencer?

+ Install a muffler silencer.

A 3" downpipe and mid pipe may help reduce the nose level, as going from 2.5" to 3" will make it act like a trumpet.

Silencers will work ok without costing you too much power - a CAT will sap an awful lot of power becasue it will stop the turbo from flowing freely.

Crap! I was in UK last Friday (to take a nissan S14 with a friend)... I don\'t know when I\'ll come back

And I think shipping cost for the exhaust will be enormous
