As per title, how does the passengers interior door handle attach normally at the top. The bottom screws in but does the top just slot into place? Mine broke and i\'m trying to fix it but the original plastic piece is shattered so cannot figure out how it all goes together. I cannot see how to do up the screw when the door card is in place and i cannot see how to get the door card in place once the screw is done up,

I\'m working today buddy, but I thought you changed the outer door handles not the interior bit?
I\'m on about when the inner door card is off, the handle that tends to snap very easily when ham fisted bafoons pull it too hard to shut the door. The handle itself is attached via 2 screws, one at the bottome that you can get to via a small hatch thingies in the door card, while the top one I cannot find any holes or gaps in the door casd to tighten the screw with.

if were talkin about an fd then you remove the electric window swithc and theres a screw rite at the top

Bobbit

It is for an FD yes bud, so you can get the top screw by taking out the window switch. Thanks fella, thats the info i needed.

Its very hard to put in the final screw from what I remember bud, youre kind of working blind.  Its the old "tape the screw to the screwdriver" trick, lol.  Im sure thats why alot break, beacuse once the door card has been removed once the screw is left out and the handle gets damaged.

I think you might be right there Chris, the plastic that takes the brunt of the force from closing the door is quite brittle so if the screw is missing or loose it\'s gonna snap quite easily. I\'m trying to do a how to on fixing the handle and this was the final missing step. Should get it finished tonight and i\'ll post it up.
