i have an elford turbo 1985 1st gen with a turbo II engine and gearbox. The main problem was the turbo fouled the steering so i had a rack and pinion fitted which was major grief due to the set up of the 1st gen steering. This was 5 years ago now so there maybe some more people who could sort it.  Not sure if you could sort the problem a different way with a single turbo manifold from a 3rd gen. They seem to move the turbo forward, there wernt any about when i did it hence the steering was changed also the steering on the 1st gens is very poor.

400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!
