i recently stripped my back seats out and got carried away and decided to rip the sound deadening out,i just used a heat gun and a scraper and it feeled away like hot glue.

I have been doing mine today. I just used a hammer and flathead screwdriver, then a wire brush in a drill to clean it all up.

i just used a hammer and an old chisel - just dont hit it too hard - you might end up finding rust that you didnt expect ;)

thats what ive used so far today but it leaves that horrible glue residue. luckily being a carpenter i know how to use a chisel:Laugh

finished removing sound deadening from the back today with a chisel and wire wheel then give it a coat of primer. Just the front to go:2Rolleyes

Not to put a downer on your work but the front half of the car was sooooo much harder to do its unreal. It has taken me a full day to get it all out/cleaned up.  Starting to paint it now though :Giggle

I found once you chipped it away its good to use a solvent and rag to wipe the residue away.  I tried white spirit and it just melted what was left and cleaned up a treat :)

I got bored using thinners to get the glue off so broke out the angle grinder and a wire wheel :D works loads better done the whole front in less than a day

found the front a lot easier than the back. have done most of it but rain stopped play:Giggle only took about an hour
