hi,my hand brake as of 2weeks ago has decided give up,it bearly holds the weight of the car on a hill lol, apart from a sezied caliper are there any other common faults with the handbrake on the fc?? thanks

Cable may have stretched - there is a joiner under the exhaust towards the back of the car - check that hasn\'t loosened and pulled out - other than that - check pad wear on rear calipers (as it uses a lever to operate the rear brake calipers), and check calipers themselves are working.

Totally agree with Dave, also make sure that the insides of the disks are getting worn as well, be no good if only half the disk surface is in contact. They are notorious in getting any decent bite at the best of times but if everything is as free as it can be,good disks and pads with good contact and a properely adjusted cable then they should be fine.
I have had to try a different set of pads before which worked wonders, think the old set was just heavily glazed and not really biting into the disk.
