alright chaps

If anyone remebers i hit a tyre on the duel carraige way and thought id just cracked the radiator, but it turns out after taking it to Roteknics that it\'s caused about £3500 worth of damage ( sterring rack, crossmember etc)

i\' ve spoken to my insurance company and they said i can iether get the car picked up from them and taken to their autharised repair garage (Jacksons Basinsgstoke) and get a hire car while they do the work(if they don\'t wright it of) or leave it at Roteknics and they will get an estimater to go round and make sure they are doing the right things and then let them do the repairs, but i will miss out on my hire car.

Just wondering really if you guys think Jacksons will be up to it or to leave it with the specialist

your opinions are appreciated:rolleyes:

I\'d always wana use the garage of my choice, as i am doing, but if the hire car is an issue for you it may prove worth while from that point of view but dunno about quality of work as i say i\'d always wana go to my specialist of choice in an ideal world....
Out of interest what sort of value is yer car likely to be if damage is 3.5k all in then anything around the 6k mark could mean write off territory i guess

Had my Integrale repaired by them a few years back after some bint curing into the back of me while I was waiting at traffic lights; not impressed with repair quality and it took ages...
