Dont\' know where I saw this, and wondered if I was spreading bad rumours! I\'ve always said its why the rotary has got its bad image over here because people import them at around 60k miles but don\'t retip them.
Does anyone know if its an official item or if I\'m talking out of my arse again?:bandit

I heard this...but it was called a refresh-
Consisting of, new tips, seals, and a full service.....
So would be around £1200-1500...which for a sports car of this calibre is not bad....since I\'ve heard it\'s not uncommon for porsches to have a full engine rebuild at 100k (probably costing £4000+)
And then a full rebuild well past 100k......

You still hear of the odd original engine doing over 90k! :cool

Hmm maybe thats what I heard, doesn\'t sound quite as stupid now!

My last FD was on 100,000 miles and was going well until an oil cooler line split with corrosion.
