up date on the engine

went there today and it was flooded so got it unflooded and it started, but having the same problem so changed plug leads and new plugs,still the same so removed um and could not see any thing wrong in there. checked all other pipes all ok/ 1 way valves all ok. changed ecu and still the same.
as soon as you rev it it holds back and back fires real load bang :reallymad
did notice there is smoke coming from turbo area thinking this could be an oil or collant leak going on the turbos

does it shoot out a fair bit of smoke when it back fires and bangs?

as for the smoke coming from the turbo area, check the coolant hoses for the turbo\'s as they do split, leaking onto the turbos which creates the steam, also if you can, check the oil feed/return pipes to the turbos as they have little gaskets that can go.

as for the hesitating and popping, im having exactly the same problem at the moment cant figure out for the life of me whats going on! its at about 5-6k rpm but if i keep it planted it sort of pops and hesitates then smooths out once past about 7k, really odd! im gona rip it apart tomorrrow and see what i can see and give you a shout if i manage to sort it! :wiggle
