rx8 rims on an fc..??

i see lots of ppl asking if fd rims would fit on fc (n ans is yes provided the fc has coilovers) but would rx8 rims fit on an fc..?

they will with spacers, fronts are the issue as they need bringing out.

i think i still got another cm or 2 until the rim is in line with the widest part of my arches..

offsets standard for a FC are 40 and I think the RX8 are somewhere near 50.  There is not much room from the rim edge to the suspension coils, thats the bit to get right.

Personnally Rx8 rims would look a little werid on a FC, I think rx8 rims look cheap! Advans, Rays etc all go cheap on ebay, I got split rim 17 inch Super Advans for £100, fit first time.

All four, and I got 2 good tyres 255 cross section. I was a happy man!

Sorry to be THICK, but does that mean i cant just stick RX-7 wheels on the rear of my car ? If so, where can i get some cheap coilovers from for an EGi ?

You also get a lot of copies on E-bay. There are bargains to be had but rarely. I missed some BBS split rims last week because I was too tight to fork out £300:rolleyes:.

Personally I like RX8 wheels, I have them on my FD although I do feel the offset is a bit weak.

Never seen them on a FC.

Looks like I had some luck, The ad did say they were for a mitsi 3000 GTO, but I knew they would fit the RX7. I re-firbed them myself and it was a whole lot of work.
 
They are geniune, with the stickers and everything, Proper split rims.
 
I saw some Mazdaspeed 16inch in gold (they are Rays Engineering) for ages but no one wanted to pay £100 for them, hell i nearly got them for the fun of it.
