Hi All.
Well, hopefully with the help of a trader on here, I\'m about to embark on a complete rebush of my car - bushings, pillowballs, and a few other bits and bobs.
At teh same time the whole lot is going to be proeprly undersealed, as it hasn\'t been done since it got to these shores in january.

Sooo, a few questions...

To do this properly(the undersealing), i reckon i need to remove nearly everything underneath.

So I\'m thinking remove:
Exhaust
Rear Subframe
Shocks
PPF
A few other bits,

BUT - is the best way to do this to drop the ENTIRE rear end, rather than taking it off in it\'s component parts? If so, could anyone provide any pointers as to which the main bits are that need doing? I\'m thinking:
Disconnect:
Handbrake cables
Prop   (mark alignment)
Shocks from upper arm
PPF
Tie rear calipers out of the way

Is that about right? have i missed anything?

I wouldnt bother with underseal. Its porous and you can still end up with problems. Go for Waxoyl or similar.

If you go this route Id be paying someone to do it (I did) as its so insanely messy.

I only paid £240 to get mine done including all internal cavities. It takes two blokes a day to do it so I dont think its bad value.

They dont remove things underneath but by using their selection of nozzles managed to get everywhere underneath mine.

I\'m giving it two layers of POR15 and then a layer of the underseal gubbins - it\'s workjed a treat for me in the past :)

It\'s a PITA but I like the satisfaction of doing stuff myself, as then there\'s only me to blame, and as i\'m having the stuff off anyways, I may as well do it :)

i want to do my bushes while the car is off the road, what kind of price are you looking at for the full lot??

not sure on the undersealing, sorry.
