water in the boot?!....kerfuffle!!!

ive found water in the boot a few times but ive just noticed today after a big storm that when i opened the boot water just poured from somwhere?! and three was abit of water in the back seat? im thinking it may be a blocked water drain on the bootlid? i may be a mile off! its been a right kerfuffle as my girlfriend has been getting a wet arse and giving me a right earfull for it!! :rollin

Hopefully not, but I fear it may well be the cause. The problem\'s made worse cos the water pools in the boot trim plastic, and pours out when you lift it, which makes it really hard to spot where it got in, in the first place. Be careful with the little clips if and when you take the trim off the inside of the boot lid, its really easy to snap their mounting lugs off, and even easier to totally muller the pegs where the strings for the parcel shelf hang! Easier said than done, when the only real way to get the trim off is to pull/pry at it in a slightly medieval fashion! Best of Luck!

ive come to embrace the kerfuffle\'s as simply the rx7 owners way of life :King   even though my car HATES my guts and keeps doing things to annoy me...i still love it to bits
