I\'ve be doing a bit of reading tonight and tomorrow I\'ll be filling the coolant back up etc. (it\'s been a while since I\'ve had a FD!)

Am I right in thinking you simply remove the hose from the back of the TB and slowly fill the water fill neck.

I also read a good way to do it is get a coke bottle with a 4mm hole in the lid and cut the bottom off it. Put it into the filler neck and fill the bottle.

This should slowly let the water into the system without much air?

What is the "burping" I\'ve read about?

cheers!

Anyway, just do that then run it for a bit and check and top up if you need to, always best to check water levels frequently anyway but any tiny bubble there maybe in the system should be eliminated by the AST anyway.

Using this method there\'s no need to burp the system as you shouldn\'t have any/much in there anyway and the AST will do the rest.

Never had a problem with mine anyway mate
