personally i think its too cheap for car with this spec...there is lots of things you wont be able to see if you just take it for a spin...and these cars arent very reliable mate...

they alway say it was a fresh rebuild but probably dontr havve papers to prove it..

Very important you have a compression test done on the car whilst you are present to see the figures. So you need to find someone close to Derbyshire with the correct kit to test the car.
1.35 bar is about all an engine can take,so its been run on the limit. So you need to be careful when thinking of buying a beast like that.

10 sec 1/4 is a bold claim:Giggle
Is that a Nos tank in the cabin?

he said the rx7 had engine rebuild b4 her bought her from gt culture, she was the office feast race car in japan, or something like that! hes had compression tests down b4 he bought her etc.

No disrespect to the owner, but you\'ve got to take all the old paperwork with a pinch of salt! Can it really did trusted?
Don\'t rely on his word, otherwise you could land yourself with some big bills.
Get a compression test done. That will give you a good indication to how strong the engine is. I wouldn\'t touch a car with that sort of spec without doing alot of homework.

listen to the guys mate, u dont want to end up like me for example (my car wasnt that bad - 18 faults was found when i got it serviced after i bought it - 2 months and juust over 2k to fix it (it cost me that small coz i have done all the work myself- 2 k was just for parts)

the other guy i know(from rx7club) bought an fd few weeks ago - i have seen this car on ebay for ages- it was 7k "engine rebuilt bla bla bal " geezer bought it and now a week after hes got a fuel leak, he cant drive it and noone knows what it could be...

do ur homework first- like i said IMHO this car is too cheap for this spec...

......think I may have seen this exact car forsale about a year ago with the same detail about feast building this 600bhp monster and may well have been the same garage selling and the price was 12K. The advertsied price was dropped to 11K and 580bhp and was advised as SOLD (there was a dyno sheet with this car).

Under the bonnet was fully polished up for the sale and looked amazing. Ask for a pic and post it up and may be able to confirm this.

(will defo need spare cash for BIG bills with a car like this).

Hi cookiemonster. I have a way of helping you out. I live in Nottingham so im only 10 mins down theroad. If you want me to go across and have a look at the car and get it tested while im there then i can do. You would have to arrange it with the owner but i dont mind doin the favour. I havent seen the car around beforeso cant pass comment yet. However i have donemy homework. If you want to contact me its aeseaton at hotmail dot com.
