Right guys

I have put my car back together after its small fire lol, as I now have barely any rats nest in there, I dont have all the pipes so how have you guys mounted your coils, are you just using the 2 bolts to secure them or is there a trick i\'m missing?

you dont lierally remove the metal frame, that supports the coils and allows the fuel to run from the injectors to the bulk head. it also helps support the throttle body.
There are performance cars and then there is the RX-7...........

12.3 second 1/4 mile, terminal speed of 122mph (1st ever drag run on a TO4R)

engine built by....... umm me! now powered by a T51 Kai......

I know I\'ve got the rats nest off, but the hard pipes are still on there for the fuel lines, it just means that I \'ve only got the two bolts holding at the lead side of the coils holding them down not the one that holds the top of the rats nest down.

It\'s a while since I did mine so I can\'t remember specifics but I cut the brackets from the rats\' nest down so that only the bits that supported the coils were left.

I got rid of the entire frame and made my own bracket from alluminum for mounting the coils.

Ok looks like I need to look into this then, I have put the coils in with the 2 bolts at the front but I\'m not happy with how well they are fixed down.
