Hello chaps

I\'m new to this game, currently looking for a good gen 1.

Getting slightly scared by mpg figures tho.

Just read that gen 3\'s do 15 mpg!!!  Be cheaper to run a jag V12.

Somebody tell me gen 1s do a bit more milage per pound.

Yes they do, i was getting about 22 mpg.

20 somthing is normal ... have got 30 somthing on a long easy run (Dad driving on the way home from buying the car )

great cars, not exactly fast but theres somthing special about driving an old 7 that puts a grin on my face everytime  + they look FAB !

the old ones look real slinky, then they went square and Tron like, and the new ones look like a halibut.

Cant say i can see the similarity between a 3rd gen and a halibut.
