new ecu!

i have an ebs iv mate.  just took it out recently when i got my apexi

handy enough, got hi/low boost settings.  the harness plugs in between the ecu and the loom then hose goes thru and connects to the uim to get the boost pressure.  the ecu itself is the stock one (i believe) that knightsports modified.  

there was some links i found with help on fitting it and a thread on setting it up. cuz i doubt u got destructions for it.  if you want i can have a look and see if i can find it to help you?  n yup its plug n play

ahh so it comes with the ECU with the knighsports chip, cool, if you fit it to your car make sure you put it on the dyno so they can check the AFR (air fuel ratio) is safe, as it might have been mapped to 100 Octane jap fuel

I think most of these are mapped to jap fuel so deffo will need checking

boost controller was available seperate to the ecu too.  i dont know if they still make em cuz they are not on the site.  
my car had the stock ecu, but the EBS boost controller fitted.  the controller also has a fuel cut defender and sequential control adapter.

I\'ve heard that jap fuel in the 90\'s was 97ron and not 100ron like it is now, so it may well be safe need checking tho. I will say i have maxed out stock injectors on the same mods.

I have a 4beat ECU you could have had for free if I knew you wanted one! There isn\'t alot that can be done with these (well, outside of Knightsports HQ anyway) as nobody can interface with them in the UK. A bit risky plugging this into your car imo, but if you must then make sure your ECU has the correct loom for your car ie.8 bit loom will not fit a 16 bit car.

yeh guys mines the same has the ebs with the fuel cut defender and sequential control adapter and the gauge for the dash. do i just y the boost pipe from my apexi gauge to the back of the ebs. and what do i have to set it to on the gauge.

mate the site is down that had the how-to for fitting it. its was clubrx.org, some of the ones on rx7club said his site got hacked im afraid. ill look at mine when i get home as i had a loose wire which came out of one of the plugs and was outside the black cable tidy that all the other wires run thru. post a few pics up if you can.  the government blocks bebo at work lol
