QuoteCan anyone confirm if my toe links are, as i suspect, stock items with one of the ends totally replaced with a pillowball set?
Both ends can be replaced, iirc one was a pb (smaller than the usual ones that fit onto the hub). the other end was a bush. Punch out the old and press in the new.

Yup - I think the end that\'s gone from mine is the end that used to be the bush, but i\'m not sure if it\'s just the bush, or the whole end (i.e. including the \'carrier\' section) that\'s been replaced.

Also, how easy shoudl a pillowball be to move around? i haven\'t got any discernible play in one of mine, but it does seem to move relatively easily between finger and thumb, which i\'m a bit suspicious of.

To give you an idea a new pb will not move like that, you\'ll need to use a screwdriver to move it around (inserted inside). I replaced all of mine of my old ones and most moved around freely with little effort.

Agree, they should be quite stiff, when i took the old one out of mine, you could even move them up and down and sideways so loads of play in the socket....
