back fog light switch

car has just failed mot just for back fog light switch. it is not lighting up.
so i have got the switch off the dash and it has 3 wiers gowing to it:Hammer
can sum one tall me were thay go?
i gess one from battary one to negative/E and the 3 i have not a clue eney help wold b g8 :Thumbs-up

There is one for NEG, The positive is for the battery feed & the switch live goes to the fog lamp. Depending on the switch there should be a diagram on showing what connector is what. Hope this help mate,

thanks for that m8  just to get my head arowed this on yhe switch there is a (+) and (A) and ( a line with two lines gowing throw)
 
is the (+) pos from battary
is the (A) neg
is the line with two lines gowing throw to light

I think the line with the two going through it is the neg. But dont connect yet i will go out and check on mine now & let you know for sure.

The line with two running across it = Earth/Neg
+ =Battery feed
A = Connection to fog lamp,
