Cheapest insurance quote I\'ve had so far...

Been looking for insurance in England with cover for Germany as I\'m constantly between the two.

Am a few days off 24, 0 ncb with a crash last year (no claim though). Had all manner of quotes from £1500 to *deep breath* £9000, but whilst I was in the office I thought I\'d try one of our local insurers here in Ingolstadt. Gave him the details on the car I have in mind, and he made a "guideline" quote of....

â,¬900. Couldn\'t believe it. Just over £700.

Anyone on here imported an RX7 into Germany? :rollin

I only paid £400 for my FD and my FC is just £250.  40 year old, clean licence and no claims.
