blocking kits

does anybody know where i can get a blocking/blanking kits for my T2 when taking off the air con compressor and the air pump or will any old bit of metal do??? and is there a right and wrong way of taking these off?

I think Re:worx sell them. Seemed a bit expensive for what they were when the site was up. I made my own up with a sheet of dural aluminium.
