I\'m looking to buy some new number plates, standard size for the better half\'s MX-5 and custom size for my FD. Happy to buy online - where is a good place to buy?

Yup, had stuff from fancyplates too :) Sometimes take a while, but they\'re pretty good, and can do pretty much whatever you want :)
If you want ****ty micro plates with italic stupid fonts, they\'ll do that, but if you just want something a little smaller than stock, that may well be classed as \'show plates\', they\'ll do those too.
Obviously for off road use only :)

i used craigsplates, very good service too.

I needed a front plate for my Merc .... OMG the palaver ....... I was told I had to produce the reg document from Lex leasing which I did ...... they took the car away to do the MOT and then returned it saying they hadn\'t done the plate because they needed to see my passport.

I drew the line at providing a urine sample tho.

Are you looking for a stick on plate or plastic plate??

I\'v done a few for local lads, and the police are clamping down on it now, saying that they have to have the numbers in the bottom corner?? BS numbers?? coz if they dont the camera car can\'t recognise them aparantly...... what a load of crap!!!

For my FD it\'s just slighly smaller than standard, my existing plate has a crack above the 1:
