English body, Japanese Heart :O

Right, this may sound stupid but I\'ve got the following already ready to shift in but before I do it I wanted to double check with someone who has experience.

I have a UK spec rolling chasis, and I have a Jap engine, Jap dash, Jap ECU.

Will these work together or am I going to have to change the entire wiring loom? Or do some modification (advise? )

Unless you have a jap type X as the donor for the loom i think you may have problems, with things like airbags sunroof wiring, cruise control. and Bose wiring if you have it, but then you may not need those things wired, thats all i know, i have jap X if i can help anymore.

Do you think by any chance the uk loom will work at all? I tried the dash but the mileage didn\'t display! I\'ve been thinking to change the steering so thats minus the cruise control, sunroof can be rewired to power, so could i use the uk or shall i drop in my type r loom?
