Repaired mechanical temperature gauges?

A while back I bought a used set of HKS mechanical gauges so I could keep a better eye on the engine in my FC. Unfortunately they did come without adapters so after a very long time the people looking after the car finally managed to find all necessary adapters and fit the gauges.

Unfortunately the oil temp gauge stopped working the day after everything was fitted and working . As it\'s a mechanical gauge, chances are that it\'s developed a leak in the capilary line - does anybody have any idea if it\'s possible to get this repaired or am I looking at another gauge instead?
