I have my RX, but whats the tapping?

Ive been driving it all day, and its awesome.  I love it.  and only two problems to report.

1. The gearknob seems to have shread its thread and continuously spins in its axis.  Shouldnt be hard to find a replacement.

2. The RE-A boost gauge seems to be tapping/vibrating really fast when i coome on boost.  as far as i can see its the needle in the gauge.  does anyone know what this could be?

Is the needle fluttering ?

It flutters less than a millimetre each way(continuously) as it rises up the gauge.  Could it just be a leaky gauge?

It  could be a dodgy gauge, leaky hose etc, depending on if its electronic and pneumatic

Or it could be a blown gasket somewhere, see if you can hear anything under the bonnet
Or worser scenario could be a broken tip, that can make your boost gauge flutter

I\'d ring an expert asap cos if its the latter you might be doing more damage
