Hi Everyone,

After a thread a I read the other day about Apexi/Apexera going bust I dropped a mail to Apexera Japan, I\'ve had the following reply from them...

QuoteDear Mr. Dave

Please let me introduce myself in the beginning.

My name is Yin,I am working in overseas Sales Department in the headquarters of Apexera(Apexi).

First, Thank you for worrying about the thing of our Apexera(Apexi).

Surely, we had various troubles on management in last year. However, as for this, our company will not go bankrupt. There is dull time in any companies.

And, we are doing our best to rebuild our company now.  We ask for your and other customers can understand us. We need your continuous support and continuous cooperation from now on.

Thank you.

Best regards.

Yin

Sure is - gotta say I like a lot of the Apexi parts - they seem to have a few cool new bits on their Japanese website too :)

I don\'t think they\'ve gone bust - they were experiencing some financial difficulties.  Probably something like Chapter 11 Bankruptcy which means that can carry on trading.

They have stopped making a few of their product lines - i.e. less popular products

My man in Hong Kong said he can\'t get anything from them any more as they are shutting up shop. :3Confused

Apexera have gone into the equivalent of Chapter 11, but Apexi have now been sold (I guess to raise capital to keep the rest of the corporation from going under as its profitable) to another company. Its this thats making a the Power Fc\'s etc hard to come buy. Hopefully though it also means that in the coming months supply should return to normal.
