Hi all,
does anyone know the sort of power increase that can be expected from an HKS downpipe. This will be mated to a de-cat and straight through exhaust.
I also have an HKS induction kit fitted and engine management duties will be handled by an HKS F-con Pro V (to be mapped by RE-WORX when the de-cat is fitted)

Are they worth the money or am I better saving my hard earned for other tuning parts.

Thanks
Phil

the exhaust is very restricted on the rex`s bud, but be warned lol if u go hks downpip de-cat and a straight pip to the backbox`s its guna make yer ears bleed! good power increase tho lol

you should see a good increase, not sure on exact figure as its different on every car, if you have a straight through decat will be very loud thou, mines got a silenced decat and is pretty loud.

Yes, they do make a difference (or so I tell myself, given that I\'ve got one on my FD).

Thanks for the input guy\'s, may have to re-think the de-cat and go silenced if it\'s going to cause heart attacks each time I put my foot down :burnout

i dont think there is a great deal of power difference between silenced and unsilenced, just the noise difference

All I say is "feel the noise"

I\'ve got a full straight through system & to be honest with you I don\'t find it too bad!!

Down pipes do make a deasent difference too, frees up the blowers so spool up would be a little quicker to!!

Got one for sale if your interested (Not sure if it is HKS but it is 80mm pipe!!) it\'s on the breaker at the moment.
£100 seems to be the average price for them at the mo!!

Hi Jono, would you except £100 including postage to Chessington (south London area)?
Thanks
