Alloy wheel Offset

Hi there,
Just wondering what wheel offset you are all using.  Reason is, I have fallen in love with the BK 299 in Gold but the widest tyre they can fit is a 235/40/18 which is 20mm less wide than my present alloys, at the rear at least.  As Im not going to be track daying my REX anytime soon, does the 20mm less width really matter?  What do you all reckon?
