Im looking for the black plasic trim (just under 12" long) directly below the petrol cap?

To remove this its best to reach up behing the panel and relase the clips by pinching them together, it would seem a previous owner didnt know this and  pulled it off from the outside so the old one if flapping in the wind...

Also it looks to me like these V clips are stuck on with a double sided sticky pad !!!! incredible !!! anyway if anyone knows of a permanent way of putting some sturdy replcement clips on then i might be able to repair the one I have. (it needs a full set of new V clips though - old ones are gone and the owner thought sticking it back on with bathroom silicone was a good idea ! ha ha )

thanks 2 connect

you can buy a silicone sealent type glue from bodypanel suppliers . It sticks fibreglass spoilers on very well.
400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!

Its called stickaflex or sickaflex, really good stuff. Its black in colour and will stick s**t to a blanket.Same stuff they use to bond windscreens in with!!!

Thanks for the advice on sikaflex, I dont think I can just glue it back in place though so I assuming the suggestion is to use this to glue on new V clips?
if so where would I get these? the guy used about half a tube of silicone seal to put it back before - as loads is needed to fill the void between the body and trim surface... Also my existing trim is warped so think its gonna have to be a new bit of trim (if anyone has a donor car, or this bit knocking around)
cheers
