In the pick.. can anyone tell me where this is meant to be connected to?

Theres also a \'hole\' on the middle plate next to the filler neck.. whats that for?

Thanks,

James

Jit

err..the hole next to the filler next wouldnt happen to be for the dipstick would it?

imebgo

lol, no, thats not really a hole...

I\'ve managed to find a picture with it on it...

imebgo

I think the coolant connection connects to a pipe thats on the rats nest metal..., i have removed all of that, the only logical place I think it could run to is the bottom of the throttle body?

Theres two connections for the heater coolant...
Theres two for the turbos
Theres one on the front plate for the long one to the throttle body
And that leaves this one?

dont remember ever seeing that hole or indeed using it on my last engine.

THat coolant connection does go to a metal pip from the rats nest from memory and to the TB from there....you might wanna double check that tho....im only 80% sure!

imebgo

Well, im 80% sure too. that means between us we are sure enough ;)

lol...

nikp

The coolant hose from the top of the thermosta housing goes to a metal hose connected to the rats nest that goes back to the bottom of the throttle body via another rubber hose.

Never seen the hole on that inter plate before.

Ok, thats one sorted... we only need to identify that hole now....  cheers guys!
