Hi everyone - I joined the forum back in May when I bought my first rex (http://www.mazdarotaryclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=39372) unfortunately it came to a sticky end when girlfriend spun across the A3 during one of those fantastic summer days in august (you know the ones where it didn\'t stop raining - grr )  http://www.mazdarotaryclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=41849

So the first  car got written off and finally I got the money through. Ipicked up this beauty for only £4K just this week! it\'s a UK car with FSH and 44K miles, riding on Tein super-streets, and 18s. I\'m still deciding whether the body-kit is to my taste but I\'m over the moon about the car!

Cheers! - Well I wouldn\'t say it was entirely her fault - I did teach her to drive and thinking back, us using it as a daily driver was probably a bit stupid - gonna treat this one with a little more respect!

unfortunately not yet - but she only has 44k so hopefully another 20k before a rebuild, I didn\'t pay too much for her so that seemed fair - I\'ve got a whole stack of history and a recent compression test was just fine.

looks nice, got any more pics?? shame about your old one

what kind of compression results did you see??

compression was low to mid 7s on the back rotor and mid to high 7s on the front rotor.

No, that wasn\'t me - my girlfriend was driving the car at the time on the way to pick me up from work, it was closer to guildford than the M25

I didn\'t buy the old one back - the rear subframe was bent and I have nowhere to keep the car - I thought I would start afresh!
