Just fitted one of these and went for a run out to see what it was like and the sound was a lot louder and more like a whistle but!!!

The car was less responsive and deffo pulled less at the higher rpm\'s.
I drove home and checked all the hoses etc and tried again but still the same.

Refitted the mazda original and went back out and it was back to normal pulling like a train ???
Hence have decided on returning the hks item and sticking with oem.

Any ideas on why the aftermarket item performed worse then? my only idea was that the bov\'s (well crv and bov) are a matched pair. Or something down that alley???????

shouldn\'t make any differance mate... unless you got a faulty one that wasn\'t sealing?? is it a genuine HKS or a fake one??

You did fit it to the bov & not the crv??? Not thatthis should make any differance anyway!!

Its a Hks one for sure, and fitted it to the valve furtherst forward just behind the driver headlight.

Only thing to note was it came off a sunny gtir so the inlet size was 29mm
so i used a pipe reducer to get it to the fd\'s 19mm

BAck to stock and staying that way now it was a bit too chav loud anyway.
