Humming sound? WTF???

Hi started my car up after my single installation, all was going well!

The engine died, and now I cannot start it, from underneath the UIM, there is a loud humming noise, the sound of electricity.

What I have modded:

850 primaries with 3ohm resistors.
1600 secondaries with 3 ohm resistors.

Before I got all the piping made up, it ran ok, but last night, it just stopped and now it refuses to start!

There is fuel getting though as the smell is quite detectable, so my question is the following:

COuld it be a coil? would that be why the humming is there?

Are the 8bit coils the same as the later 16bit ones?  Ie I have several sets of the old coils, would they work?

Thats the idle speed control valve under the plenum, sounds like you\'ve flooded it fella.

Not sure mate, has it been setup to run the bigger primaries? Btw the buzzing noise is normal once it\'s stalled, it should go if you remove keys and try again.

No its not been set up to run the larger injector, just informed the Apexi the size of the injectors through the commander.

Will strip it at the weekend!

Thought 1600 could only be setup through the plug-in PC software ?

humming might be arcing...check your leads, plugs and coils...did any of them get wet by chance? otherwise it might be a faulty coil pack?
