Hi guys - new to this site as acquired our first RX7 on Saturday.

Unfortunately power steering started making a real racket and firing fluid all over the floor on Sunday - not a good start!

Searching the forum there seem to be quite a lot of requests for pumps/pullies, so looks like it may be a common problem - is that right? Just out of interest, would the seller have known it was on it\'s way out, or is it just one of those things that happens out of the blue?

How easy are the pump & pulley to change? Any RX-sepcific oddities we should watch out for? Are the pumps/pullies the same on various models (eg manual/auto) or do we need to make sure we get exactly the right model? It\'s a 1992 automatic FD3S Jap import.

Also starter motor a bit temperamental, so may replace that at the same time too. Again - anything particular we should know before starting?

Any advice gratfeully received!

Thanks very much

Nik.
