Hi Everyone!

I hav been looking on this forum for a while now as i hav my first rx!

beautifull car, montego blue - lovely.

BUT

I fitted a blitz dv, and noticed it only dumps when arround 4.5k and wondered if this is normal? i have adjusted (not fully open or closed tho), and lubed with a light spray of wd.

Just worried i gonna hav to dig into that blooming rats nest!

Any help would be good, even if you think im a paranoid nuub!
Cheers

Na mate..... it sounds like you have put it in to the pressure reliefe valve for the second turbo!!

The DV should be fitted in to the Y pipe: where the pressure from the 2 turbos come in to one pipe.

Yeah, it is prob hooked up to relieve the second turbo.  Is no bad thing at all..

ok thanks guys, to be honest i was a bit lazy and just removed the unbranded DV that the origional owner fitted didnt really look to see where the pipe were comming from!

WD will evaporate so use some 3in1 or similar light multiperpose oil.

Airline oil is good for the bov.
