Yup.

If they were cheaper elsewhere - please dont tell me.

Anthony.

yep.. try here,,, and here,,,

just kidding. :-)

Any problems with mountig? Are you using stock intercooler (IC)?
still remember,
NO ROTOR, NO MOTOR !

A7NTY

We havent got it yet, we have been waiting ages for it!
Should arrive day after tomorrow I am assured.
Should be fun to fit as the car has a massive Blitz front mount intercooler :(

I am already in love with the car, but what a tempremental little bitch she is! Nothing has been easy so far with this car but I am sure once prepared she will blow away my 395bhp R32 GTR!

You shouldn\'t get any problems. I think you will be in trouble using stock IC.

I think, it\'s important to mount a biger radiator using front mounted IC. So you are doing right.

Please  keep us up to date with your mount experiense.

Best Wishes
Iwan

PS. I\'m shure, you will be suprised racing RX-7 vs R32...

Cheers the car is running too hot, so to me its essential.

After I have fitted the bigger injectors and fuel pump, radiator, thermostat and water pump (for precaution), I will fit water injection and a custom I/C water spray system. Mapping seems good and is not detonating with optimax and octane booster, it\'s especially running 0.8 - 0.9bar boost.

Cheers, Anthony.

Rad mounting shouldnt be  problem as the blitz fmic is mounted well forward. £500 for a wgt rad? sounds quite a lot but as long as it does the job.

I dont think injector duty is a great indicator of power output mate; I\'ve seen significant variations with near identical specs for no apparent reason. I\'d suggest bigger secondary\'s too, you can get 1300s in the stock rail I think.

I presume you\'re talking 350fwhp? I think you will be surpirsied when you hit the rollers what power its making; it\'s amazing how quick these cars feel with \'just\' 280rwhp....

We all told u you\'d love it ;-)

Have fun, drive safe... :)

PS dont measure the quality of your mapping by whether you\'re getting detonation - unless you like rebuilding 13B motors? :rollin

Well it aint going nowhere at the moment as its still running \'slicks\' on the rear ;)  Its going for new shoes tomorrow, the new goodyear F1\'s to be precise.

I did ring Geoff up and ask him about a price on a bigger rad but he told me you didnt need one, so I just got the one from pip as I wanted one regardless of what I was told, I am being very cautious of course.

Yes I was talking flywheel horsepower, remember these cars get masses of hp in Japan and Australia on stock twins so it is possible to get 350bhp flywheel with a good map, which I think I have got, but who really knows. Whatever happens I wont be going big turbo, I will leave that to my GTR which I know can take it.

As Rich says, injector duty don\'t tel you much in terms of power.
I need bigeger injectors as I keep hitting 100% on my injectors. I have a 98 auto standard 255bhp blitz back box re-amemiya downpipe, standard cat, blitz induction kit, re-amemiya stock mount intercooler, and apexi power fc & commander. running base map. I know i\'m nowhere near 350.

Agreed about the stock rad (flush it, test it and use water wetter)for the power youre shooting for; I ran fmic, intake, etc, etc and 1bar boost for 18 months as a daily driver without problem (I\'m a bad, bad boy!) with stock rad and never used to get much above 85 degrees when flogging it. Ant ran a similar setup with te apexi fmic and had the same water temps. Big one cant hurt though can it...

Yep, quite a few of the FDUK lot are running around the 290-300RWHP mark i.e. around the 340-360FWHP with stock port motors. The stock twins arent much good for that much more than 300RWHP-ish though I dont think (in spite of some yanks claiming 400-450bhp!) - I think most folks with cars around this power will agree with me - they dont have enough puff hence lots of people running are planning on GT35\'s, TO4\'s etc :-)

Fair enough guys!

Still goes like stink though :D

I will post a direct comparison report between this and the R32 GTR once I have driven the RX7 enough to make a judgement.
First impressions are very good though!
