Ive fitted a profec b on my fc cab, ive just cut the feed to actuater and plumbed in from this feed to (in) on the profec box and then plumbed (out )from box to actuator, this is not controling boost with 1 reading almost 1 bar on lowest setting on controler.
Do I need to get another pressure feed (in) from plenum and plug the standard outlet that feeds the actuator because the satndard fc solonoid is working against the profec b solonoid??
cheers

Hi Stu
have you got the profec set to internal actuator type and not external type?

You need a good boost source for the \'in\' nearest the compressor housing is best,  then the out goes to the actuator but iirc you need to block off the second outlet from the actuator if it has one.
400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!

there is only 1 pipe on actuator mate, the profec is of my other fc that your engines going in but when I took it out it the pipe feeding the profec had been plugged with a bolt in the bulkhead so I suspect it could be faulty.
I dont know what its set up for on the little toggles maybe thats all it is.

on the fc is the boost controled by a solonoid via the ecu? if it is this would make sense why its not working because youve got 2 solonoids trying to work of each other. the boost fluctuates from .8 bar to .5 bar so somethings deffinatly not right.

the toggles on the back need to be set to actuator type, i think the FD is the one that has 2 outlets on the actuator so ignore that bit.   Just plug a fresh boost source to the in on the solanoid box
