Does anyone know if the 5 speed rx8 knob lights up red, like the  6 speed one?

Mine doesn\'t and didn\'t seem to have any kind of wiring to support that at all...

I think it\'s an optional extra direct from mazda. I saw one go on ebay for £100

you can get ones that light up, I got a 5 speed from someone which wasn\'t light up
either way be warned they get very hot if the car\'s been sitting in the sun all day (not that that\'s much of an issue at the moment )

I\'ve not seen one that I like better than the standard one. The overall weight and feel of it is just right. I got a new FD one through crescent from a Yahoo auction. Overall cost was about £25 and it looks far better than the ripped one that was on there before. If you want I will try and search out a link.

The guy doesn\'t seem to have any FD ones for sale at the moment. Here is a link for the stuff he has got. With any luck he\'ll put FD\'s ones up for auction sometime soon and hopefully this link will still work when he does.
