Importers in herts (advice)

Hi, im not sure if this is the correct place to post, so if its not please move it.
 
Im looking at getting an Rx7, iv got insurance all sorted being 21 it was tough! Was very impressed with sky insurance! they actually know about cars.
 
Anyways iv found a rx7 i like the look of, after the first one i wanted to see the seller said they were desperate for the money, then couldnt even manage to find the time to let me view the car with loads of excuses and with it running at 38000miles with out a rebuild and being re advertised within a month of him owning it i thought too many bad buying signs.
 
The one i like is at an importers in hertfordshire called AKCHERTS. I just wondered if anyone had had any dealings with them in the past. The car is 1000 pounds over what i really wanted to spend. but if its a nice example and i can get warrenties etc i\'d go for it.
 
I used to be a car salesman, so i know how some cars get treated, and i guess with an import its a bit hit and miss, if the car has been clocked etc, as 10,000miles difference between interiors is not noticable, but 10,000 miles on a rotart could be the difference between a rebuild being due or a few years of motoring.
 
Any advice or pointers would be much apreciated, and if anyone in hertfordshire area has an rx-7 id really like to have a look around a nice example and listen to it, so im more prepared. I dont really want to waste anyones time who is trying to sell, by just turning up with no intention to buy.

ah sounds like a plan. old honda revs member with a rx7.

Im a bit stuck for transport at the momment, need to get my celica sorted. CV joint is making horrible noises. lol

trust me dude...i love this rex...gives me much more fun than my integra used to!! Only thing you got to get used to are running costs. Im going down to The ring and le mans for the next 12 days but I dont mind driving down to you (any excuse for a drive atm!!!)...

Ah its just clicked exactly who you are. you used to have the red integra. you took my mate out in it through the hatfield tunnel.

Hi guys, sorry to \'jack the thread but i\'m in welwyn garden too and am very keen on getting a RX however have no friends with one. I\'m currently in a Integra Type R and i\'m always around so maybe just coming to have look, talk to you about your cars and getting a bit of knowledge would be VERY helpful and interesting...
