I\'ve had my Rex for about 5 weeks now after importing it in from Japan. I actually bought it to plug the gap before I bought my next evo (which is on its way at the mo) but I think i will be keeping the Rex and selling the Tommi Mak!:D

When i first got the car it had a mines ecu in in so I only put my foot down now and then. Fitted an Apexi PFC and the foot would go down more often!! The car was only running upto .58 bar boost and the second turbo wasn\'t kicking in but I was already impressed.

I kept thinking about how this car wou;d respond once i sorted the boost issue out.  After a diagnosis from m4drx (which turned out to be spot on) I changed a oneway valve and got my boost pills in yesterday and now I have controlled boost.

Quick acceleration and then quicker at 5000 revs!! Don\'t think this car is selling! Just bought some alloys for it and I\'m in love again :InLove. Every time i get in the car it drives better and better and better!  How good can it get???? Also fitted some carbon interior and sorted out the front bumber which had a gap between it and the bonnet.......

Just need a remap and a burnout kit and some new alloys to fit the burnout kit and some gauges and some smoked indicators and some tinted windows for now, we\'ll think up some other things later!!!

I\'m so glad I bought this car! :driving

Hi Ray,

Pleased your enjoying Rotary,:Thumbs-up

I have watched many people over the years fall in love with these cars and out of love, go off buy to Subaru\'s, Evo\'s, skylines or what ever and then find them turning up again in a 3rd gen after realising it\'s a difficult all round package to beat as a real drivers car especialy for the money:) .
All the best Clive

Not sure but I think the clutch may be uprated too (either that or the clutch bearing is on the way out!!)

It\'s a bit like beauty and the beast. Beautiful to look at and a beast when driven :D.  Need to get it on a rolling road to check what she puts out. Think it might be in the mid 300\'s :Giggle
